Protect the panel. Pull with ease.
The Buddies fit pre-drilled 35 mm hinge holes and help prevent panel notching during edgebanding. Adjust their height from 12 mm to 16.5 mm to suit your setup.
Each Buddy contains a steel washer without an embedded magnet. After edgebanding, the puller’s built-in magnet engages that washer so you can lift the insert out. Its compact, curved grip fits comfortably between your fingers.
The magnet is in the removal tool, keeping it out of the inserts during the machine pass.

Fit the Buddies
Adjust each Edge Bander Buddy to match the depth of your 35 mm hinge hole. Check the fit before moving to the next step.

Adjust the Depth
Place a Buddy into each hinge hole that needs support. Check that each insert sits flush with the panel surface.
- 03
Complete the pass
Run your panel through the edgebander using your normal machine setup and operating procedure. The Buddies help support the hinge-hole areas during the pass.

Lift out. Use again.
Once the panel is clear of the machine, place the magnetic puller against the steel washer on each Buddy and lift the insert out. Keep the set together for your next panel.
